My name is Chad Morgan, and I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan on June 3rd, 1982.
I have always had a unique prospective on life growing up a mixed kid as my father Charlie is black and my mom Patricia is white. Both of my parents were hard workers and entrepreneurs.
I have been working since I was 11 years old, mowing lawns and shoveling driveways. My brother Charles hired me to clean his hair salon once a week at 12 years old, and I did it all by myself after getting out of middle school at Pattengill, then I would walk to his salon. I never called in and always put my best into it. I started my first job with actual check stubs at Wendy's in Frandor shopping center the month I turned 14 and I have been working ever sense.
I have two beautiful children that make me not want to give up and be the example I want to be for them. My daughter is Julianna and she is 14 years old. My son is Chad Jr. or "CJ" and he is 6 years old. They are a big piece of my world.
Regardless of my drive, ambition, vision, success and failures, I have always wanted to do better and be better. This blog is a part of that journey and the 1ChadMorgan evolution of PASSION | PURPOSE | DESTINY and LEGACY. So what does this even mean you might be asking. Well I have been on a journey to figure out what are my passions, so that I can operate in my purpose and fulfill my destiny and leave a legacy. 1ChadMorgan for me means there is only "1" me just like there is only one of you. So that means to me that we are unique and I believe we are all on this same journey in one way or another. Some of my passions are self education, self development, teaching, cooking, investing in my children and many more. Through this blog I am not coming from the point of view as the expert, but as a fumbling practitioner of this thing called life. I hope my passion to educate, teach and my human transparency can be utilized as a resource of encouragement and assistance on your journey.
